• Appellation: reveals the region where the grapes are grown. Preferably, choose an AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) wine when possible.
• Region: this criterion allows you to know the wine production area to better imagine the flavors it contains. These flavors depend on factors such as soil type, climate, and proximity to the sea or ocean, a pine forest…

• Producer: whether it’s a recent independent winemaker or a large centuries-old wine estate, their name is displayed on the bottle. This information allows you to research the wine production methods and the wine’s history.
• Vintage: the year of grape harvest provides valuable insights into the quality of the wine, inherently linked to weather conditions. It’s worth noting that in Provence, the relatively stable climate has a low impact on vintage quality compared to other wine regions in France.
